Ingredients (for 4 persons)
14 oz (400g) chicken breast
4 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp sake
4 tbsp mirin
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp grated ginger
- Poke chicken with a fork.
- Mix other ingredients in a bowl.
- Marinate the chicken in the mixture for 15 to 30 minutes.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan.
- First, grill the skin side of the chicken on medium heat, then turn over and grill the other side.
- Pour into the pan the sauce used to marinate the chicken in the pan.
- Cover the pan and steam cook the chicken on low heat for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and slice the chicken.
