Teriyaki Chicken

Cooking time: 20mins

Ingredients (for 4 persons)
14 oz (400g) chicken breast
4 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp sake
4 tbsp mirin
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp grated ginger

 

  1. Poke chicken with a fork.
  2. Mix other ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Marinate the chicken in the mixture for 15 to 30 minutes.
  4. Heat the oil in a frying pan.
  5. First, grill the skin side of the chicken on medium heat, then turn over and grill the other side.
  6. Pour into the pan the sauce used to marinate the chicken in the pan.
  7. Cover the pan and steam cook the chicken on low heat for 4 to 5 minutes.
  8. Remove from the heat and slice the chicken.
