Sukiyaki

Ingredients

1 pack grilled tofu
1 onion
1 leek
1 pack kikuna leaves (or seri)
1 pack enoki mushrooms
4 fresh shiitake mushrooms
(Option: 1-2 packs udon noodles)

Sukiyaki sauce
Appropriate amount of sake
Appropriate amount of sugar
Appropriate amount of soy sauce

2-4 eggs
Appropriate amount of beef fat

Preparation
1. Cut the onion, enoki mushrooms and tofu into bite-size pieces.

2. Remove the hard parts of the shiitake stems. Slice the leek diagonally.

3. Cut beef slices in half lengthwise. Lightly cook the shirataki noodles in boiling water and drain.

4. Place the beef fat in a heated skillet and coat the surface with the rendered oil. Spread and place beef slices in the skillet. Stir in appropriate amounts of sugar, sake and soy sauce and sauté. Add the rest of the ingredients and cook. (Option: Add water to the skillet to thin the sauce and simmer the udon noodles in the skillet.)

5. Serve in individual bowls with a side dip of beaten raw egg.
