Ingredients (for 4-6people)
400-500g Beef (block)
1 Block of Garlic
1/4 Onion
1/4 Carrot
1tbsp Vegetable oil
<Sauce>
4tbsp Soy sauce
2tbsp Sake
2tbsp Mirin
1tsp Sugar
- Slice carrot, onion and garlic and put them in a vat with beef.
- Pour the Sauce in the vat and marinate the beef for approx. 30mins.
- Take off the marinated beef from the vat.
- Heat a pan and fry the beef in a low heat until perfectly browned.
(around 5mins on each surface) - Put a lid on the pan and steam for 10-15mins.
- Take off the beef and wrap it in foil.
- Put the sauce in the pan which used to cook beef and boil them down and strain.
- Slice the beef in 3mm pieces and pour the starined sauce.
