Sauteed tuna salad (maguro no tataki salad)

Cooking time: 30mins

Ingrediens (for 4 people)

140g mixed leaf salad
200g block of Tuna
1tsp vegetable oil
1/2tsp salt
<Dressing>
6 tbsp Grated white radish (Daikon) 
 2tsp grated onion 
2 spring onios
1&1/2 tbsp lime juice 
4tbsp soysauce 
2tbsp mirin 

  1. Mix all the dressing ingredients.
  2. Pat dries tuna with paper-towel for 10mins.
  3. Fry tuna for 30 seconds on each side in a high heat.
  4. Put some ice ontop of tuna to cool it down.
  5. Slice the tuna into 1.5cm.
  6. Put the sliced tuna on the bed of salad and pour some dressing.
