Ingredients (for 4people)
200g Burdock root
50g Carrot
1 Dried red chilli (akatougarashi)
1tbsp Sesame oil
1 1/2 Soy sauce
1 1/2 Mirin
Vegetable oil
- Peel the burdock root and carrot, cut them into 6cm thin stripes.
- Soak them in water for 30mins, and drain them.
- Put some vegetable oil ,sesame oil and chilli in the pan. Put it on high heat.
- Add burdock root and fry for few minutes.
- Add the carrot and fry for 3mins.
- Put the rest of all ingredients, 3tbsp of water and stir well for few minutes.
- Turn off the heat.
