Clam Soup (asari no ushiojiru)

Cooking time: 10mins

Ingredients (for 4people)
16 Clams
4cup water
1tbsp sake
1/2stick powder seaweed stock
1tsp salt
some soysauce

 

  1. Put the clams, water and sake in a saucepan.
  2. Turn on the heat (high).
  3. Skim off the scum that rises to the surface of the cooking water.
  4. When the clams are opened, pour the stock, salt and soysauce to taste.
  5. Turn off the heat.
