White radish with miso paste (furofuki daikon)

Cooking time: 2hours

Ingredients (for 4people)
1 white radish (Daikon)
1/4cup Rice

<Sauce>

100g Red miso
2tbsp Sugar
2tbsp Mirin
2tbsp Sake
2 Egg yorks
200ml Soup stock (dashi)

1. Cut the radish into 3cm wide, and peel.
2. Make a cross mark on one side of the radish.
3. Pour plenty of water, rice and radish in a saucepan.
4. Cook in the medium heat, remove the skum and put the rid.
5. Lower the heat and cook for approx 2hours.
6. Put all the Sauce ingredients in a saucepan
    and cook until it gets thicken.
