Silk Road
Walking path that stretches a total of 36km around Suginami City. Composed of two loops; east and west. Was created for historical and industrial PR.
It is not a path that was specially created, but it normally used by neighborhood residents.
There are 4 rest places called "Oasis", which are themed on the 5 human senses.
They have various designs, such as the "Ear Oasis", in which equipment allows one to hear the sounds of a forest.

Suginami City Chuo Library
This facility serves as the central library for the City. The Suginami Materials Room has administrative materials,
and the Media Room is rich with CDs and other material to enjoy.

Koenji
One of the most popular spots with young people. Has many live music houses, used clothing stores, cafes, and sundries stores.
Because there are many shopping streets and few large-scale stores, this area has an old-town atmosphere.
In late August, Koenji's famous summer event, the Koenji Awaodori, is held.
