Shimokitazawa
Usually called "Shimokita", this neighborhood has its own atmosphere, unique from Shinjuku or Shibuya, and is highly popular with young people for its abundance of fashion, performance, and music.
It has had some redevelopment in recent years, but many of the traditional retail shops are still around.
Access: Get off at "Shimokitazawa Station" on Odakyu, Keio Inogashira lines

Sangen-jaya
Usually called "Sancha", there are a lot of stylish cafes neighborhood, which is famous as the source of culinary booms in Japan. Many celebrities also reside here.
The Eco Nakamise in front of the station maintains a nostalgic Showa Era feeling.

Futago-tamagawa
Usually called "Nikotama". This classy residential neighborhood is popular with stylish families.
While it is a convenient place to live, it is also close to natural surroundings as well.
Access: Get off at "Futago-tamagawa Station" on Tokyu Den-en Toshi, Oimachi lines

Seijo
This is a high-class residential neighborhood where many celebrities live. The name Seijo comes from the Seijo Gakuen Academy, which operates schools from elementary to university levels nearby.
The neighborhood boasts much greenery, beginning with the trees lining the front of Seijo Gakuen, and the area is interspersed with stylish cafes, restaurants, galleries, and boutiques.
