Asukayama Park
This is one of Tokyo's famous blossom viewing spots.  The 8th Tokugawa Shogun, Yoshimune, established the spot by planting sakura trees for the peasants to view.
It is designated as Japan's first park, and hosts the Asukayama Museum, Paper Museum, and Shibusawa History Center.
Access: 3 minute walk from "Oji Station" on JR, Subway Namboku Lines; 3 minutes from "Oji Ekimae" and "Asukayama" stops on Toden Arakawa Line

Former Furukawa Garden
This is a precious garden, as it is one of the only early Taisho gardens in its original state, and is a nationally designated cultural asset.
A Tokyo prefectural park with a famous rose garden, its western and Japanese gardens meld marvelously.
Access: "Kaminakazato Station" on JR Line; 7 minute walk from "Nishigahara Station" on Subway Namboku Line
      12 minute walk from "Komagome Station" on JR Line

Kita-Topia
This facility is symbolic of Kita City, containing an authentic concert hall, music studio, training rooms, and more.
Visitors can enjoy the view in three directions - south, east, and north - from the 17th floor observation deck.
Access: Get off at "Oji Station" on Subway Namboku Line, then 2 minute walk from North Exit of "Oji Station" on JR Line

Tokyo Mizube Line
From the Kamiya boat landing, passengers can enjoy the "ichinichi yurari tabi", an all-day cruise course on the Sumida River, Tokyo Bay, Arakawa River, and the Iwabuchi water gate.
There are also sakura trees lining the boat landing area, and the place is designated as one of the 100 best views in Kita City.
