NIKON COOLPIX S710
World’s most compact digital camera featuring a stainless steel surface, equipped with optical vibration reduction and 14.5 mega pixels for high–resolution images.

Nikon Corporation of Japan will release its COOLPIX S710 compact digital camera, the world's smallest package offering high performance and advanced features, on the 29th of August.

The COOLPIX S710 shoots beautiful and attractive photos, blending elegant design and quality construction.

The photographic performance of this high quality camera exceeds its compact dimensions, the smallest of any digital camera. The high imaging power of the camera begins with 14.5 effective mega pixels of sharp resolution from the new 1/1.72 inch CCD image sensor. The precision optics of the new 3.6x Zoom NIKKOR lens support true wide angle through medium telephoto shooting with a focal range of 28-101 mm. The camera is smooth and offers true to life color, all at a high speed that contributes to efficient and stress free camera operation.

Its motion detection feature helps ensure clearer results when camera shake or subject movement occur during shooting. It automatically selects a higher ISO sensitivity setting to enable the use of faster shutter speeds. Motion detection supports the reduction of image blur, making for clearer pictures. The LCD monitor has an anti-reflection coating and offers a bright and large image for a better display, even in bright settings. The total weight of this compact digital camera is 155 grams without the battery or SD memory card. The street price is 42,800 Japanese yen.
